I wrote my first lines of code on an Apple ][+ when I was about ten years old, and since then, it’s been kind of my thing. Writing code is my jam because its fundamentally a problem-solving exercise, and it requires constant learning to stay atop of the evolution of the field.
I cut my teeth as a dev during the dot-com bubble, lost a big chunk of time when I shifted to project management, and then went back to slinging code about the time COVID hit in 2020.

Non-Nerd Stuff
At this point, it’s all nerdy. I ride (and build) bicycles, buy more Lego than I have room for, read voraciously, and even find time to write now and then. Life is an opportunity to learn, to have adventures, and do interesting stuff. If you’re thinking about getting in touch about a project, you should read my freelance page to see the sort of stuff I’ve been involved in.
